Anastasija Mensikova is a Ph.D. student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Trinity College and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from George Washington University. Before starting her Ph.D., she worked as a Data Scientist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she contributed to projects involving planetary exploration, DARPA initiatives, the integration of large language models into research workflows, and AI-driven geospatial analytics. Her current research interests lie at the intersection of Life Cycle Assessment and Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of advancing sustainable environmental systems. In her free time, Anastasija enjoys dance classes, photography, exploring the outdoors, and all things cozy, especially in the fall.
